Ontology
is at the core of all Platform of Trust APIs. The Ontology viewer aims to provide a comprehensive set of classes and properties to describe real-world entities, known as identities
in the Platform. Using the Ontology viewer, you can get details on the following about an Identity
:
Ontology Viewer presents information model for Harmonized Data
in a human-readable format. It is hosted at same URL as the Ontology
itself.
We use The W3C Web Ontology Language (OWL) to model Ontology
. This is a Semantic Web language designed to represent rich and complex knowledge about things, groups of things, and relations between things.
We use JSON-LD to provide a machine-readable version of Ontology
and connect Ontology
to payloads and other data elements. JSON Schema is a vocabulary that allows you to annotate and validate JSON documents. We use JSON Schema to map Ontology
with data structures in JSON format. You can Copy or Download the contents for Context, Vocabulary, Class Definition, JSON Schema and Data Example in JSON-LD format
Click on the expandable list on the left to discover what real-world entities are represented with Ontology
standards in Platform of Trust. You can also use the Filter option to quick search Identities
